about The podcast

Dr. Justin Yanuck is board-certified in both Emergency Medicine (University of California, Irvine) and Pain Medicine (Harvard Massachusetts General Hospital). During his residency, he often encountered chronic pain patients in the emergency room and realized he didn't have the best tools to help them. This realization led him to begin researching chronic pain, which ultimately drove him to pursue a fellowship focused on pain management, where he devoted an entire year to the field.

Over the years, his interest in Ketamine's potential expanded beyond these traditional uses to exploring its application in other conditions. Diving into the literature on Ketamine and other emerging therapeutics like Psilocybin, LSD, and MDMA, he became convinced of their potential to help those suffering. Currently, his primary focus is on Ketamine-assisted therapy, as it is the only legal option available, and he believes it can be a transformational treatment for the right patients.
